Software developers registering for the SBR Program’s XBRL processor software

The Standard Business Reporting (SBR) Program has negotiated an agreement between the Commonwealth and Fujitsu for the supply of XBRL software. Under the agreement, the software can be made available to software developers via a sublicence.

The XBRL processor software "Interstage XWand" may assist software developers to develop end user products for organisations that can create, validate, report, collect, and analyse financial data in XBRL.  The Program seeks assurance the supply of the software is to support the development of business software with the purpose to lodge reports via the SBR e-channel to participating SBR agencies.

The supply of the software by the SBR Program will be subject to the following conditions:

  • a sublicence between the Commonwealth (as represented by the Department of the Treasury) and your organisation must be signed; and
  • its use is restricted solely for the purpose of enabling financial, accounting or payroll software for your clients who will lodge (SBR in-scope) forms to governments in Australia.
To request a copy of the sublicence, please register by providing your business name and contact details and a statement of intent on how you propose to use these tools in an email to SBR@treasury.gov.au
