New components
The 28 January 2010 release includes the SBR taxonomy and components for the Victoria Payroll tax annual reconciliation form.
Changes and updates to existing components
In addition, following internal testing and software developer feedback, a number of changes and updates to existing components are contained in this release. These are:

VIC SRO - Payroll Tax Monthly Return SBR AU Report taxonomy and Message Implementation Guide (MIG) – To better align with the VIC SRO Payroll Tax Annual Reconciliation form and other State Revenue Office forms a number of changes have occurred. A full list of changes is incorporated in the change control table of the updated MIG.

Pay As You Go (PAYG) – Updated sample instances and machine readable validation rules (ie schematron) following internal testing.

Northern Territory Payroll tax message responses. Message responses have been updated to provide greater clarity.
- Standard Business Reporting generic message responses. Message responses have been updated to provide greater clarity.

ASIC Common Services – Following re-versioning of the ASIC List Lodgment Status Response (ASICCOMN), the MIG contains changed values for "sbdm:Message.Type.Text" and updated linkbase file versions in the DTS sections.

SBR Forms in scope testing schedule – To reflect updated release dates.

SBR Taxonomy Release schedule – To reflect updated release dates.
Other items of importance
Software Developers should note that to maximise the quality of SBR taxonomies, forms previously scheduled for release in February 2010 will now be released over two releases in March. Details are as follows:

- ATO - Company income tax return plus schedules (unchanged).
- ASIC - statement to verify financial statements of a Foreign Company (405).
- ASIC - Annual return of a foreign company (406).

- WA - Australia wide wages (unchanged).
- TAS OSR - Payroll tax annual reconciliation (unchanged).
- ACT - Annual payroll tax reconciliation.
- SA - Payroll tax annual reconciliation.
