SBR definitional taxonomy (available 28 May)
The SBR definitional taxonomy has been updated to include new elements that support the changes to the ASIC FINRPT.
Software developer impacts: These updates will support developers who wish to implement the updated ASIC FINRPT.
ASIC Financial report (FINRPT)
Updated reporting taxonomy, Message Implementation Guide (MIG) and schematron due to:
- changes to Accounting Standards; and
- necessary amendments identified through testing and review.
Software developer impacts: Software developers will need to review and amend work undertaken on the FINRPT to ensure a correctly working solution.
Revenue SA – Payroll tax periodic return and Annual reconciliation
Updated reporting taxonomy and MIGs (including Revenue SA Common Services MIG) due to:
- misalignment between the message response codes in the MIG and the message response XML file;
- discrepancies in defining the cardinality of PayrollTaxPayment in the List Historic Returns Response message; and
- discrepancies in the defined cardinality of the LodgmentHistory tuple in the List Historic Returns Response message.
Software developer impacts: Software developers will need to review and amend work undertaken on the Revenue SA – Payroll tax monthly return and Annual Reconciliation to ensure a correctly working solution.
2. Updates due to identification and resolution of defects
ATO - Company tax return
Updated reporting taxonomy and MIGs due to:
- an incorrect use of a version of the OrganisationDetails.OrganisationType.Code element within the TrustDistributionIncome tuple of the Company Tax Return schema (in the ctr.0001.lodge.request.02.00.report.xsd file); and
- an error with the YOMinus value under the RelativePeriodDuration dimension.
Software developer impacts: Software developers will need to review and amend work undertaken on the ATO - Company Tax Return to ensure a correctly working solution.
3. Enhanced documentation/clarification
Updated Security Token Service message samples - Reflect the use of message level encryption to SSL.
Software developer impacts: This change will benefit software developers by providing working examples and will enable developers to correctly construct instance documents.
State and Territory Revenue Office Payroll Tax Common Message Implementation Guide Overview - An erratum has been issued to correct two incorrect service implementations.
4. Upcoming changes and updates to existing components
WA OSR - Periodic return – There is currently legislation under consideration that will impact this return.
