A new key to access government online services

AUSkey is a single key to access government online services - and is used with SBR.

In the future, you may no longer need different user IDs and passwords as AUSkey becomes accepted by more government agencies for their online services.

We encourage you to register for an AUSkey as soon as is convenient so you can take advantage of its many benefits.

  • Flexible installation options: Install your AUSkey on your computer, a USB stick, your organisation's server or a combination of these
  • Online management facility: View, and update your details, cancel passwords and more
  • Automatic renewal: As long as you use your AUSkey at least once a year, it will not expire

  1. Check your ABN details are up to date. Your AUSkey registration will be quick if we have the right details to match against
  2. Register for your AUSkey online at www.auskey.abr.gov.au   
  3. Download and install your AUSkey
