SBR is consulting intensively with accountants, tax professionals, bookkeepers and financial service providers, including their professional associations and peak bodies, in the detailed design of the financial reporting solution. The feedback is that industry is supportive of SBR and ready to come on board with this streamlined reporting procedure.

Significant savings in time and effort in compiling and sending financial reports will allow greater efficiency in reporting for your financial services provider. This will allow providers to offer value-added services to businesses, opening up opportunities to enhance business practices in other areas .

SBR will be voluntary but, given the benefits and the strong support by the financial and accounting sector, it is expected the use of this reporting channel will grow and that most financial service providers will be totally familiar with SBR by 2010.
