When will SBR be available
Businesses will be able to reduce their financial reporting burden using SBR-enabled software from 1 July 2010.
Early uses of the SBR processes will allow those with SBR enabled software to create and send TFN Declaration Forms from their accounting/record keeping software directly to the Tax Office from mid 2009.
In the interim, SBR is working with business associations, financial service providers (eg. accountants, bookkeepers, tax professionals) and software providers to ensure everything businesses need is in place, and available to business, by 31 March 2010.
