Technical Information
Standard Business Reporting will provide a new channel for software developers that will enable them to send electronic reports to a single point and they will be routed to the correct agency. This single entry point is called Core Services and is a technology platform to be designed and built around a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) approach. The Core Services will mean there is one standard for messaging, web services and validation for all agencies
Within Core Services we have identified a range of capabilities that will be required to support the Accounting community and Accounting Software Developers and enable electronic interactions between accounting packages and SBR agencies.
Software developers and accountants will be approached for their input into the design, build configuration and testing of these services.
This work will commence from July 2008.
SBR is currently undertaking a procurement process to select a Program Implementation Partner who will assist with the design, build and implementation of the Core Services.
