SBR registered software products register - disclaimer and conditions of use

The SBR Registered Software Products Register has been developed to assist businesses to obtain information about software which may assist them to meet their reporting obligations.

The SBR Registered Software Products Register contains a list of software products which have been developed by software developers who have provided a declaration to the Commonwealth that their product has been tested against the testing materials and produced the same results. The testing materials were provided by the Commonwealth for use in the self-certification process of software products in relation to particular SBR Agency reports.

We make no representations or warranties in relation to the software product and are not responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever or howsoever it may arise that you suffer, or may suffer as a result of any claim against you by a third party, (including if the software product fails to perform as expected) arising from or in relation to your use of the software product.

You are responsible for making all enquiries and investigations of the software products as to their availability, suitability and use, and should obtain appropriate professional advice to ensure they are suited to your particular circumstances and IT environment. You should seek independent advice if you believe that a statement made by a software developer is false and/or misleading.

If you wish to purchase software listed on this page, you should do so on the basis of independent consideration and/or advice.

For the purpose of this disclaimer:

  • SBR Agency means each of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and each State and Territory Government represented by the agency and office holder responsible for payroll tax in that State or Territory.
  • We or us means the Commonwealth of Australia acting through and represented by the Department of the Treasury and the ATO, each of the SBR Agencies and our personnel.
