SBR XBRL processor
The Standard Business Reporting (SBR) Program has negotiated an agreement between the Commonwealth and Fujitsu for the supply of XBRL software. Under the agreement, the software can be made available to software developers (as represented by their entity) via a sub-licence.
The XBRL processor software "Interstage XWand" may assist software developers to develop end user products for organisations that can create, validate, report, collect, and analyse financial data in XBRL. The Program seeks assurance the supply of the software is to support the development of business software with the purpose to lodge reports via the SBR e-channel to participating SBR agencies.
The supply of the software by the SBR Program will be subject to the following conditions:
- a sub-licence between the Commonwealth (as represented by the Department of the Treasury) and your entity must be signed; and
- its use is restricted solely for the purpose of enabling financial, accounting or payroll software for your clients who will lodge (SBR forms in scope) forms to governments in Australia.
To request a copy of the sub-licence, please ensure the Entity Registration process and a Software Developers Licence for SBR Program has been completed. A further statement of intent from the software developer is required on how you, the software developer, proposes to use the XBRL processor software. This can be included in an email and forwarded to the SBRServiceDesk@SBR.gov.au.
