The SBR Program can provide a number of software developer productivity tools (including APIs) to you free of charge. These are controlled by a licence agreement (Software Developer's Licence for Standard Business Reporting).

SBR has been designed to facilitate electronic integration of business interactions required to simplify government reporting requirements. The SBR Identity Management Client (IMClient) is invoked when businesses using their SBR enabled accounting software seeks to list, prefill, prelodge or lodge a report with an SBR agency via Core Services.

The Reference client file provides software developers with a sample implementation file for Core Services 2010. The Reference client shows software developers how to package the XBRL documents into a SOAP message for transmitting to Core Services.

Information to assist a DSP identify the tools or services required to deliver an SBR-enabled product are available here.
