Self Managed Super Funds Verify (SMSFVRFY)

The SMSF Verification Service provides major aggregators of super data such as APRA Funds and administrators the ability to obtain verified SMSF details prior to processing electronic rollovers and payments to SMSFs via SuperStream transactions.

Note: The use of SMSFVRFY will be mandatory for SMSF rollovers for APRA funds and their administrators as it is legislated for them to use an electronic service upheld by the ATO to confirm SMSF details prior to an APRA to SMSF rollover.

APRA funds and their administrators must not solely rely on the SVS to meet their “know your client” obligations. They are still required to use their current processes and procedures prior to processing rollovers to SMSFs in order to satisfy their own Trustee processes and obligations.

Unclaimed Super Match (USMAT) - DEPRECATED

The Unclaimed Super Match service (also referred to as SuperMatch2 LITE) was intended to enable Third Parties authorised by the Commissioner to obtain, subject to consent from their clients, a list of superfund memberships from the ATO including lost member accounts, and ATO held monies that belong to their clients.

The ATO has made a decision to DEPRECATE this service as of the 8th March 2018. The decision to deprecate the service was due to technical issues with ATO backend systems and the ATO is not in a position to open this service up. No DSPs will be whitelisted in EVTE or PROD and all code will be removed from the SBR ebMS3 platform.
